Obviously, on completion of twenty years of the international tennis career of Roger Federer, the world-renowned champagne maker Moet & Chandon are unveiling a new Grand Vintage Magnum bottle. Since 2012, this World No. 1 tennis star has been the brand ambassador for this famous wine house. According to Federer, he feels honored to be part of such an organization.
Surprisingly, one of its kind bottles features a vintage leather wrapper grip. These limited edition champagne bottles are hand signed and numbered by Roger himself, which seems to be an added attraction of the bottle. Federer did not forget to express his gratitude to Moet & Chandon for donating the entire profit money to the account of Roger Federer Federation. This organization works for the betterment of educational infrastructure in Southern Africa and Switzerland.
Among all the varieties, Grand Vintage Collection 1998, Grand Vintage 2004 and Grand Vintage 2006 are personal favorites of this Swiss tennis star. There are only 20 bottles of Grand Vintage 1998 in the 1.5-liter volume available around the world, and each one of them is priced at $24000. However, these rare collections are up for sale on request via the email address rogerfederar20@moet.com and Moet Hennessy’s Boutique. In a happy talk, Federer revealed his passion for champagne calling it the “weapon of choice.”
