McLaren Automotive showed its special rendition of the new Grand Tourer: the new McLaren GT. The sleek and perfect GT redefines the Grand Tourer category by merging a compelling mixture of creative materials, supercar performance and a stunning driving experience.
“The new McLaren GT wrapped in a charming body and real to McLaren ethos of designing superlight vehicles with a clear weight benefit over rivals. Designed for distance, it gives the space and relaxation of a Grand Tourer, but with a level of agility never experienced before in this segment. In simple words, this is a vehicle redefines the notion of a Grand Tourer in a way that just a McLaren could,” Mike Flewitt said, Chief Executive Officer, McLaren Automotive.
In addition to the important design details, the performance aspects speak for themselves. With an acceleration from a standing begin at 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds, 0-124mph within nine seconds, and a highest speed of 203 mph, it is evident its bespoke design matches its performance capabilities.
There is a full of 570-liters of luggage area with 420-litres in the rear and 150-litres at the face – enough for a gold bag and some skins in the rear. It is, so a pretty practical super vehicle which could be driven long distances and helpful enough for some day to day activities.
The vehicle design is stunning, dominant and muscular. It is less outlandish than the 720S and the glass roof that tapers into an oval towards the rear is truly perfect. There are some ginormous air intakes ahead of the rear and at the back, the fresh rear lights design is truly clean.
It is the longest vehicle in its lineup measuring almost 4.7 metres but has all the perfect hallmarks of a McLaren.
