McLaren 600LT Spider Is the Fifth Car to Bare The Famous Longtail Name

Definitely, that’s excellent news for supercar fans. The McLaren presents the ‘McLaren 600LT Spider’ as the 3rd new model in its £1.2bn Track25 business plan & the 5th car to bear the famous Longtail name. This new convertible car has everything you need- less weight & more power, ideal aerodynamics, track-focused dynamics & they made this car for only a few lucky men. Also, it’s fitted with a retractable hardtop to enjoy the open-air driving, for that its called convertible.

Meanwhile, the McLaren 600LT Spider is based on the old 600LT Coupé model, but with the reduced weight, it packs more power than that old one. Although its lightweight because the carbon fiber MonoCell II chassis has the potential & stud-ness like steel. Also, its powered by the twin-turbocharged ‘ 3.8-liter V8 engine’ which provides 592-bhp & 457lb ft of torque. The car will go from 0 to 60 mph only in 2.8 seconds, farther 124-mph speed in just 8.4 seconds. Though it’s just 0.2 seconds slower than the older Coupé model! The maximum speed of McLaren 600LT Spider is 196-mph with the roof lowered & 201-mph with the roof raised. Another plus point of the car is the 3-piece retractable hardtop roof can be lowered at speeds of up to 25mph. It has old Coupé-like cabin offering when it is in the raised position. Certainly, with the roof raised, this tonneau storage area arranges an extra 1.8 cft of boot space.

Surprisingly, the 600LT Spider features the upgraded powertrain that lets the driver enjoy the car’s carbon fiber chassis to the full power. The McLaren 600LT Spide is assisted by a dual-clutch, Seamless Shift 7-speed Gearbox, which offers the ignition, cut in the sports mode to promote faster changes whilst delivering a dramatic aural crack from the top-exit exhausts & the Inertia Push in Track mode for better acceleration. This supercar is attached with bespoke, track-focused Pirelli P- Zero Trofeo R tires & the driving experience is more advanced and enjoyable with quicker steering & sharpened responses from throttle & the brake pedals. If you love McLaren, then this is the car you want to show off among your friends.
