Givenchy has a fresh and brand-new face and she comes with a whole lot of hair.Owner of the world’s most famous ponytail and pop icon, Ariana Grande, has been unveiled as the French style house newest ambassador.
Over the weekend, the luxury brand appeared at the news, teasing black and white silhouettes of the singer charming ponytail with their 12.8 million Instagram followers.
In a press release from Givenchy, it was stated the Grande will be starring in the brands winter/fall 2019 campaign, which will be exposed in July.
“I am so happy to be the new face of Givenchy. It is a home I have always admired, and to now be part of that family is such an honour,” she said in an official statement. “I love this clothing and the happiness and confidence it brings to the people wearing it. Not just is the clothing attractive and timeless , but I am happy to work with a brand that makes a people feel thrilled for who they are.”
Grande primary campaign of Givenchy will come out in July for their Winter/Autumn 2019 campaign. She will join Ronney Mara, Gal Gadot, and Julianne Moore who are also house ambassadors.
Famous for her love of thigh-high boots. A sweatshirts, A-line skirts and crop tops, the twenty-five years old will bring a sense of street cred to the luxury brand, which has returned to its graceful roots since Clare Waight Keller took over an artistic director from Ricardo Tisci, in 2017.
In April, Grande also put work for a beauty line by trademarking the title “Ariana Grande Thank U, Next,” which was filed for a number of beauty products, adding boy lotions, fragrances, body scrubs, and bath gels, among others. She also has a line of fragrances sold at Ulta Beauty.
